Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "Customer") and Continental Packers & Movers ("Company", "We", "Us"). By accessing our platform or hiring our services, you agree to be bound by these conditions as per Indian law.
Scope of Services
Continental Packers & Movers provides comprehensive logistics solutions across India including:
- Residential and Commercial packing and moving.
- Loading, Unloading, and Inter-city transportation.
- Short-term and Long-term warehousing facilities.
- Vehicle transportation (Car/Bike) via specialized carriers.
User Obligations
Customers are responsible for providing accurate inventory lists. Failure to disclose hazardous materials, perishables, or high-value items (jewelry, cash, documents) may result in service refusal. Users must ensure legal access to both pickup and delivery locations for our transport vehicles.
Booking & Cancellation
A booking is confirmed only upon payment of the token amount (Booking Advance). Cancellations made:
> 48 hours before
90% refund of the booking advance.
< 48 hours before
No refund of the booking advance.
Payment Terms & GST
All prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. In India, Movers and Packers services generally attract 18% GST (or 5% if no ITC is claimed). Full payment must be settled upon loading at the origin point or as per the specific Quotation agreement.
Delay in payments may lead to 'holding' of goods in our warehouses, with additional daily storage charges applicable at the customer's expense.
Liability & Carriers Act
Our liability for loss or damage is limited as per the Carriers Act, 1865 and the Carriage by Road Act, 2007.
- We are not liable for internal electronic damage of appliances unless external damage is visible.
- Fragile items not packed by our professional team are moved at 'Owner's Risk'.
- Natural calamities or 'Acts of God' are outside our liability scope.
Dispute Resolution
These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from our services that cannot be settled amicably through mediation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Online Payments
Online payments are processed through Paytm Payments Gateway, a PCI-DSS compliant platform. By making an online payment, you agree to Paytm's Terms of Service in addition to ours.
- Booking advances paid online are subject to the Cancellation Policy timelines stated in Section 3.
- All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR). GST is applicable as quoted in your service agreement.
- Payment confirmation is displayed on-screen after a successful transaction. Continental Packers & Movers is not responsible for gateway downtime or processing delays caused by banks or third-party payment networks.
- If an amount is debited without an on-screen success confirmation, contact us immediately with your Order ID and we will investigate within 2 working days.
Online Product Sales (Packing Materials)
In addition to relocation services, CONTINENTAL PACKERS AND MOVERS sells packing products (including corrugated boxes, tapes, rolls, and wrap) directly through this website. The following sub-clauses govern all such product transactions.
8.1 Products & Descriptions
We offer packing products in fixed pack sizes. Product descriptions, dimensions, pack quantities, and photographs displayed on the website are for illustrative purposes. While we strive for accuracy, minor variations in dimensions or print may occur within acceptable manufacturing tolerances.
8.2 Pricing, GST & Shipping
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of 5% GST (HSN 4819).
- Delivery: flat ₹149 per order on most products; free on corrugated rolls. Mixed carts pay ₹149 once. Product prices are GST-inclusive.
- The maximum order value is capped at ₹10,000 per order. For bulk requirements exceeding this limit, please contact us for a custom quotation.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice; the price applicable at the time of successful payment confirmation is the binding price for that order.
8.3 Order Acceptance
Placing an item in the cart or initiating checkout does not constitute a confirmed order. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of successful payment. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order — including after payment — in the following circumstances, with a full refund of the amount paid:
- Pricing or product description error on the website.
- Delivery address falls in a pincode not serviceable by our logistics partners.
- Temporary stock unavailability.
- Suspected fraudulent, duplicate, or prohibited transactions.
Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed to the original payment instrument within 5–7 business days.
8.4 Payment Processing
Product payments are processed securely through Paytm, Razorpay, and Airpay — PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store, log, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or net-banking credentials at any point. By completing a payment you also agree to the terms of the respective payment gateway used.
8.5 Guest Checkout
No account or registration is required to purchase products on this website. You are solely responsible for providing accurate delivery address, contact name, and mobile number at the time of checkout. CONTINENTAL PACKERS AND MOVERS will not be liable for non-delivery or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information furnished by the customer.
8.6 Delivery
Delivery timelines, courier partners, tracking, and related conditions are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
8.7 Cancellations & Returns
Order cancellations and product return/refund requests are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
8.8 GST Invoice
A GST tax invoice bearing our GSTIN (GSTIN 06GMVPP7260N4ZU) will be generated for every confirmed product order and made available to you digitally. The invoice reflects the product price inclusive of 5% GST.
8.9 Limitation of Liability — Products
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CONTINENTAL PACKERS AND MOVERS's total liability arising out of or in connection with any product order (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall not exceed the total order value actually paid by the customer for that specific order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from product use or delivery delays.
